    1. Rating 3.5I really enjoyed this book, the heroine is a female pilot in the army whose father was a famous Vietnam vet. She has a thing against male pilots, because she saw what a terrible husband and father, her father was, a drunk womanizer but she still did anything to make him proud of her and joined the army. She sleeps with the hero under the impression that he is Special-Ops, when he is a pilot and she has mistaken him for his twin. They meet in Afghanistan again and they share a deeper con [...]

    2. 4 Stars – Coming Up for Air is an adult contemporary/military romance by Karen Foley, and part of the Harlequin Blaze Uniformly Hot! series. The Few. The Proud. The Sexy as Hell!Army captain Jenna Larson is a top-notch Black Hawk pilot who'd logged more flight hours in her teen years than some military pilots did during an entire career. Her father—a highly decorated Vietnam war veteran—had taught her how to fly when she was barely a teenager. He's a legend in the military annals, and ther [...]

    3. I may have found another favorite romance author! I believe this is the first book I've read by Karen Foley, and I'll be sure to be on the lookout for more after this one.I tend to avoid books about "men in uniform" (all types of uniforms) because many authors have a tendency to use a uniform as a shortcut to character development - readers are supposed to assume that a uniform means the character is strong/brave/honorable without being shown that through the story. However, that is not the case [...]

    4. Coming Up For Air is another captivating read by Karen Foley. I love her books. Each has a way of drawing me in and keeps me turning the pages. Coming Up For Air is a part of Harlequin Blaze’s Uniformly Hot series.I loved Jenna and Chance. They development of their relationship and how they would work despite Jenna's issues with dating someone in the military were well written.Jenna never would have gotten together with Chance if she hadn't mistaken him for his twin brother, Chase. I enjoyed h [...]

    5. I felt this story had potential to be a good story but was missing action. I was interested throughout the whole book but wanted something more to happen to the characters. They came together too easily for a good romance novel as I always find the best romance books are when the hero and heroine have to overcome so much to finally realize they are in love or able to be together. This novel just had the heroine finally agree to see someone in the military (which throughout the book truly didn't [...]

    6. I think I like Chance better than Chase. In the beginning I was wondering so he's JUST a pilot and not Special OpsI'm sure he's not as exciting but nohe was cool and funny and caring. Even after reading Chase's story I still prefer Chance. Anyway, I have a type. The writing was fun, and for a book set in a warzone, both heartwarming and entertaining. I enjoyed reading this book.
